Our Dark Space Planetarium is open Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 4pm, with six additional events – The Exo-Planets with Jesse Beaman, two screenings of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon, two performances of In Sound and Space with Wendy Stewarts and Weird New Worlds with Dr Beth Biller. The regular youth sessions are running at Kirkcudbright Youth Project , there are some Kate Picken Music sessions and one Sensory Tots session at the beginning of the month.
Gin tasting and tours are available at Dark Art Distillery in addition to day and evening painting sessions at The Wee Pottery.
There are the regular fitness workshops with The Functional Coach some yoga with Kelsey Ansbro Yoga and Qi Gong classes. The monthly hearing clinic with Dumfries and Galloway Hard of Hearing Group regular sessions , Bread Therapy with IA2PS , weekly Mindfulness workshops and the monthly Parkinson’s UK in Scotland cafes are running. Plus new Baby Massage and Play sessions are available, lead by Early Years Scotland
The Kirkcudbright Development Trust office will be closed from Saturday 23rd December until Monday 8th January.
Plus we have meeting room and community room availability if you’re looking for a venue to host an event, club, workshop or meeting.
